Susanne "Susan" E. Laird (later Scavey, born July 18, 1908, date of death unknown) was an American freestyle swimmer who competed in the 1928 Summer Olympics.
She was born in Homestead, Pennsylvania.
In 1928 she finished fifth in the 100 metre freestyle event. She also helped the American relay team to qualify for the final of the 4 x 100 metre freestyle relay competition when they set a new world record in the semi-finals. But she did not participate in the final when the American team won the gold medal and she was not awarded with a medal.
